“Can anything be done
about stretch marks?”
Clients ask. Your feed is full of results and unfamiliar terms. You want to understand what this work involves, what you will need and whether it is right for you.
That is where we begin. This lesson is for nail technicians, permanent makeup artists, aestheticians and anyone exploring a new speciality.
“Do I need a
medical qualification?”
Not every beauty service is a medical service.
The specific procedure matters.
Did Yandex or ChatGPT give you a categorical “no”? First check which procedure, country and documents that answer refers to. A short answer cannot replace an assessment of your circumstances.
In the lesson, we discuss three decisions of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation that distinguish non-medical cosmetic services from medical services. You will learn what to check in your protocol, equipment and training before seeing your first client.
Calling a service “correction”, “aesthetic” or “nano” does not determine its legal status. Nor does the absence of that exact marketing phrase from the list of medical services. These cases do not specifically authorise the school's method. Outside Russia, local requirements must be checked separately.
Explore the lesson programmeCourt decisions discussed in the lesson
- AKPI19-639, 10 October 2019: non-medical hair removal methods and medical epilation.
- AKPI23-79, 6 March 2023: cosmetic tattooing and medical dermopigmentation.
- AKPI23-1043, 17 January 2024: cosmetic care and medical sebum removal.
The requests to remove services from the list were dismissed. The court nevertheless distinguished medical services from non-medical cosmetic services. In appeal APL23-168, 30 May 2023, scars and stretch marks were listed among the indications for medical dermopigmentation. Those conclusions cannot be applied to a different technique without assessing it. The linked source texts are in Russian.
Turn your interest
into a clear plan
Seven topics in one lesson, explained in plain language.
Understanding the methods
Pigment camouflage, inkless, microneedling and nanoneedling: what the terms mean. The classic method using our signature oils and the professional method using our signature serums.
Medical qualifications, licensing and court decisions
What Russian court decisions establish and what they do not. How “Can I study this?” differs from “May I provide this service?”. What to check about a specific procedure before practising.
Results and research
Photos from the school's practice, the limits of before-and-after comparisons and what scientific publications can tell us. No promise of identical results for every client.
Your first conversation with a client
How to explain the aim of correction, which questions to ask and when to postpone a procedure. An example response you can adapt to your practice.
Preparation and budget
The device, consumables, products and additional expenses. How to distinguish equipment costs from the full budget for getting started.
Training and practice
How the learning platform works, why you practise on artificial skin, and the differences between self-paced study, online training with Guzal and in-person sessions.
Your next step
A worksheet to record your experience, questions, budget and preferred support. Use your plan to decide whether to continue with the main training programme.

Before you start
Can I pay and watch the lesson now?
Not yet: the video has not been recorded. This page presents the upcoming mini-course, not a lesson available for purchase. Payments will open only once the recording is ready.
Will I be able to see clients after this lesson?
The mini-course introduces the speciality and helps you choose your training. It does not replace a complete protocol, practical training, qualification checks or the requirements in your country.
I was told I do not need a medical qualification. Is that true?
Non-medical cosmetic services and medical practice have different requirements. You need to assess the actual procedure, not just its name. We discuss court examples and questions to check in the mini-course. Individual legal advice and authorisation to practise are not included. The Russian cases do not determine the rules in other countries.
Do I need to buy a device and serums in advance?
No equipment is needed for this introductory lesson. First, you will learn about the speciality and the costs involved. You choose a specific practice kit as part of the main training programme.
I already bought “The Science of the Method”. What happens to my access?
Your existing materials and purchase terms remain unchanged. You can sign in to your account. Any existing terms for crediting your earlier purchase towards the main course remain in effect. The new RUB 490 mini-course is offered separately, without upgrade credit.
